About Me

My name is Shannon and my hubby, David, and I live in North Carolina.  We are in the process of raising and sending off our 5 children one by one into this great big world.  I homeschool my youngest 3 children, for what reason, I sometimes know not.  Last year, I decided to change my life.  Yep, I finally took the plunge into veganism.  Now, just so we're clear, I tread water in the vegan department.  I do not plunge into the deep waters of being vegan, meaning, I still have leather seats in my car and animal products are most likely around my house in some fashion.  I basically don't eat meat or dairy or any animal bi-product, if I can help it.  Sometimes they are hidden in those pesky convenience foods......
