Today...

Today a plane leaves US airspace bound for the hot climate of Baghdad. He is my sister's husband, the father of my beautiful niece and nephews. As insignificant as it seems watching from the ground, just another plane, there is precious cargo aboard that plane. Well wishes for the unit and it's commander. Peace, mercy, and faith be with you. Prayers for the people of Iraq and their journey to normalcy once again. Prayers for troops who remain and who are arriving. Thank you God for our freedom and the pursuit of diplomacy. Thank you God for men and women with hearts of soldiers who defend this country through their calling from you. Thank you God for you, your mercy and salvation for us. Thank you.

And for you I thank you for your eloquent words and your constant prayers. Prayers for those that have to make the hard decisions and for those that have to sit and wait for the decisions to be made. You are the best sister and bestest friend. I luv you. Thank you!!!
